The award-winning ensemble, AlmaNova, is an innovative flute and guitar duo presenting an eclectic program of chamber music and elevating the flute and guitar ensemble to the highest level of virtuosity and artistry. AlmaNova brings their unique programming and captivating stage presence to cities around the world including Paris, Sarajevo, London, New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. This concert features works by Bach, da Falla, Ibert, Piazzola, and Ravel, as well as guitarist Almer Imamovic’s compositions and arrangements.

In the exhibit I am presenting 25 images taken in the past few years of national parks in California and nearby states.

Fresh off of her Carnegie Hall debut performance last Spring, soprano Courtney Huffman returns to Southern California to perform an all-American program ranging from Charles Ives to George Gershwin. A wonderful mix of old and new, this program features classic masterpieces such as Ives’ Tom Sails Away, The Cage and Memories intermixed with contemporary favorites such as I’ve got Rhythm by George Gershwin and Desire by up-and-coming award-winning composer Tom Cipullo.
